Nur E Islam ("the app") is designed to be a complete Islamic companion: Quran with Bengali translation, prayer times, Qibla direction, the 99 Names of Allah, Tasbih, Duas, Hadith, nasheeds, and Islamic quizzes. Your privacy matters to us, so this policy explains — in plain words — what the app does and does not do with your information.

Data the app collects

The short answer: nothing is sent anywhere. The app does not have accounts, does not use ads, and does not sell data.

• Location: Used only on your device to calculate prayer times and the Qibla direction. It is never shared with us or any third party.
• Notifications & alarms: Used only to remind you of prayer times. SCHEDULE_EXACT_ALARM
• Battery optimization: Allowed so Quran audio and nasheeds keep playing in the background. REQUEST_IGNORE_BATTERY_OPTIMIZATIONS

Data stored on your device

Everything you do stays on your phone — bookmarks, reading progress, tasbih counts, game scores, and settings are stored locally on your device only. No server stores any of it.

What we do NOT do

• We do not collect, store, share, or sell any personal information.
• We do not show ads or track you across other apps or websites.
• We do not create accounts or profiles of you.
• We do not send your data to any server or third party.

Children

The app is safe for children. It contains no ads and collects no personal data from anyone, including children.

Your choices

You can clear the app's data or uninstall it at any time from your device's settings, which permanently deletes everything stored locally by the app.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be published on this page with a new "last updated" date.
